You may have heard me being refferred to as ACROMAN. This name came about when I began challenging the fines and empowering others to do the same.
If you were unlucky enough to be caught "breaching" the covid regulations, you were likely to be handed one of these fines. To the best of my knowledge, not a single one of these fines has won when being appealed in court. They are not worth the paper they are written on.
If you chose to comply, and paid an ACRO you recieved, you have accepted liability as apposed to challenging the fine. The money you have paid has been paid to a private limited company, namely "ACRO" which stands for Association of Criminal Records Office. I feel this name is unsuitable, as it is designed to play with "their customers" minds, in the use of the word "criminal" when in reality it's a civil matter.
